How It Started
It is speculated that the rift between the two men started in 2016 when SpaceX was commissioned to launch a satellite for Zuckerberg that would have provided internet to remote parts of Africa. However, the launch failed, and Zuckerberg’s satellite was destroyed. Since then, the two industry giants have quarreled to some extent, with the rift only escalating since Musk purchased Twitter in late 2022.
